244.630. - Hanging of screens.
Every owner of a dwelling let to another shall be responsible for hanging all screens
whenever the same are required under the provisions of this code. Screens shall be
hung not later than the first day of May of each year. This provision shall not preclude
the owner and tenant from agreeing by written contract to have said tenant hang the
screens as required above for other than multiple dwellings. Nothing in this section
shall be construed to prevent the owner from engaging a tenant, caretaker or any person
from hanging the screens for remuneration. (Code 1960, As Amend., § 72.140; 78-Or-244,
