244.580. - Supplied facilities.
Prior to leasing, the owner shall notify the tenant in writing of any metered utility
service paid exclusively by said tenant which serves any area not leased and controlled
by the tenant. Such notification shall be in a type size as large as elite, twelve
(12) characters per inch. Every supplied facility, piece of equipment, or utility
which is required under the housing maintenance code shall be so constructed and installed
that it will function safely and effectively, and shall be kept in a professional
state of maintenance and repair. Appliances used for cooking, air conditioning or
refrigeration, when supplied by the lessor, shall be installed and maintained so they
