386 charsIn his third point, Tenant argues the trial court erroneously declared or misapplied the law in permitting Landlord to recover rent on property for which no certificate of inspection permitting occupancy had been obtained as required by a City of St. Louis ordinance. He claims that the agreement to pay rent on this condemned property is therefore illegal, void and cannot be enforced.
