At the close of the testimony, the Authority argued that 42 U.S.C. § 1437d(l)(6) placed an obligation on Turner to assure that guests not engage in drug-related criminal activity on the leased premises and that the statute pre-empted the URLTA. The district court disagreed and dismissed the action holding that pursuant to KRS 383.660 of the URLTA and the terms of the lease, Turner sufficiently remedied the drug-related criminal activity, engaged in by Jones, by barring him *125 from her apartment. The circuit court affirmed.
