The following facts are supported by the record. The plaintiff owns a 24-unit apartment complex in Rochester. The defendant resides within the complex as a tenant at will. On June 1, 2007, the plaintiff served the defendant with an eviction notice after the defendant made several allegedly “false and slanderous” accusations against Frank Chiaramitaro, • Jr., the president of Great Traditions Home Builders, Inc.
