determination pursuant to § 92.203(a)(1), (2), or (3) or determines income in accordance with § 92.203(b)(3). In addition, each year during the period of affordability, the participating jurisdiction must require the project owner to re-examine each tenant's annual income in accordance with the option in § 92.203(b)(1) selected by the participating jurisdiction and included in the written agreement, except as follows:
(1) A participating jurisdiction may permit an owner of small-scale housing to re-examine each tenant's annual income in accordance with the chart in this paragraph (g)(1), instead of annually, during the period of affordability.
