. Soley refused to provide specific values for most of his assets. He testified that a statement from Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter indi-eating that he had a net worth of $55 million dollars was inaccurate and that he never provided such information to them, but he declined to answer specific questions regarding his net worth. In the course of his testimony, a copy of his 1997 tax return was introduced that indicated a gross income of $4.5 million on which he paid $1.2 million in taxes. A draft of his 1998 tax return was also introduced showing an estimated gross income of roughly $1.4 million. He testified that the discrepancy was due to his sale of a lot of property in the 1997 tax year.
