Initial Rent Registration
Initial Rent Registration is required for all rent regulated buildings.
To file your registration, mail or hand-deliver your complete submission to:

Initial Rent Registration Instructions
RR-1(i): Apartment Registration Form (submit one for each apartment)
RR-2(i): Building Summary Form (submit one per building)
RR-3(i): Building Services Form (submit one per building)
Along with the forms listed above, owners of buildings that receive NYC Tax Benefits 421-A(16),
485-X, and 467-M are required to attach the HPD-approved workbook to their submission. Owners of buildings that are being registered under a government Regulatory Agreement need to attach relevant pages from that agreement. If a building has both a Tax Benefit and a Regulatory Agreement, the submission should include both attachments. Failure to provide the required attachments will delay the processing of the submissions.
