In Davidson and Montgomery County the
court date will be on the warrant. In other
counties you will have at least 6 more
days until the court hearing.

3. Court hearing
If you lose, the judge signs a court order
that lets the landlord evict you. The
judge will also say how much you owe
the landlord so far.

Then you have at least 10 more days
to move out. During the 10 days,
you can ask a lawyer about filing an
appeal. An appeal probably won’t
keep you in your home.

4. On the 11th day after the
hearing, the sheriff will come
and you and your belongings
will be set out.
