Chicago Renting Right is brought to you by the Department of Housing’s Advisory Committee for Renting Right. The Advisory Committee comprises community-based organizations that provide support and resources to Chicago renters and landlords. Chicago Renting Right is the landing page for Chicago renters and landlords to know their rights and responsibilities under Chicago law and learn about valuable resources to promote housing stability.

The City of Chicago's Department of Housing will be accepting applications for the 2025-2026 Advisory Committee on Renting Right (ACRR) from Monday, January 13 until Friday, January 24 at 11:59 PM. You can access the application here.
