1,743 charsThe owner/sponsor and the tenant have a right to appeal the determination of the agent/agency granting or denying Senior Citizen or Disabled Protected Tenancy Status and/or Protected tenancy status for Hudson County residents. The landlord/sponsor and the tenant have the right to file for a hearing to aggrieve this determination. The application for a hearing must be filed, together with any required filing fees and other documents, within 10 days of receipt of the determination notice. The application for a hearing must include a statement setting forth the legal or factual basis for the appeal. The application for a hearing to appeal the determination must be filed with the following person at the following address: ______________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________________ (insert the name and address of the hearing officer or administrative agent/agency) If you are 75 years of age or older and a resident of Hudson County you automatically qualify for Protected Tenancy under the Tenant Protection Act. You may do so by filling out and returning the Comparable Housing Request Form to your landlord.
